So if the Oct 19th version had issues and a fix to that was put out Oct 20th, wouldn't that be a new version designation? If it was (I suspect) iTunes would allow me to update to the working one. Without it my iTouch simply tells me it's installed, which I think requires me to delete it and load the new one. Downside-custom lists disappear. Should we expect a corrected version (and new number) to be released soon, in addition to the quick fix that somebody had to do (over the weekend)?

What "Oct 19th version" are you talking about? All I've ever seen any posts about (since the 2.1 version was pulled over a week ago) is version 2.1.1, which was released Oct 20th.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

On the 19th I received an update available notice (hadn't seen one before) and since installing it won't launch. Looking again at the App Store I see that 2.1.1 was released on the 19th, so while this new one seems to fix others' problems, I'm OOC. Might just have to bite the bullet and remake my lists.
Is there a way to re download it if it is already installed?
