iPad isn't syncing

Gospel Library 2.5 won't sync on my iPad 3. I switched to Gospel Library 3 when it first came out and enjoyed it for a few days until it increasingly started crashing. It then started freezing during each session of use, and now I cannot even get it to open a library selection without freezing. I have tried everything including removing the app and reloading several times, and powering off and on my iPad 3. I reloaded GL 2.5 and it now will not sync. I have had other GL sync issues before including one that has gone on from the beginning of GL and that is that while my iPad was syncing with lds.org my iPhone 4S and, later, my iPhone 5 GL app never would. I have never been able to get both my iPad and iPhone GL apps in sync with my lds.org account. Now I'm in a real bind since GL 3 won't work at all and, since reloading GL 2.5, it will not sync with lds.org. I cannot prepare my Sunday lesson. Back to paper copy I guess. I would say the most frustrating thing is not having any real support help; in all my years of GL use, I believe I have had only one response from anyone in support. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A THIRD PARTY APP THAT SYNCS WITH YOUR lds.org account?

The church tightly controls what apps are allowed to use the lds.org account. The only 3rd party apps I know about are for the Family History side of things. Nothing for GL.

Any help resolving sync issues would be greatly appreciated! I have a lot of "changes pending since last successful sync at Dec 31, 2000"!!!!!
