I'm not seeing it and have been on the beta for a very long time. I wonder if its because I switched my email to a google account that is not the primary on my phone? Is there a plan to also release it for download like LDS Tools does?

I'm able to see it under Leadership but it doesn't have an icon and nothing happens if I tap on it yet. I know they are still converting some of the content over to the new format and putting it into the system; maybe it's not completed yet. Are you able to at least see it in the list? Are you signed in with your LDS Account? Your Google account shouldn't matter, unless it affects whether or not you're able to get updates to the alpha.

What do you mean by release for download? Do you mean as a PDF? LDS Tools for iOS doesn't allow you to download a PDF.

sbradshaw wrote:The next major release version of Gospel Library for Android will support role-based content. You can download the beta (actually, alpha) version of Gospel Library 3.5 for Android by doing the following:

First, join the LDSTech project "Gospel Library Android" (if you've never joined an LDSTech project before, you'll need to sign the ICLA):
https://tech.lds.org/projects?controlle ... ojectid=11

Next, join the Gospel Library BETA Google+ community:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities ... 5251519476

Finally, sign up as a tester through Google Play:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.lds.ldssa

After that, you will see the beta version in the Google Play store from your device.
I've done all this and waited over night bit did not see an update to 3.5. Also when I go to this link

http://tech.lds.org/dl/android/

I only see the 3.2.13 Alpha. Am I doing something wrong?

Was that on the Play store? I've looked there and can't find it.

I have a Samsung Note5. I am currently the 2nd councilor in the Bishopric. Our First Councilor has an Android phone as well. Both of us can't see handbook 1 on our Android devices. I also have an IPad. Handbook 1 is visible on it.

Today I noticed that the first councilor in the Stake Presidency had a Samsung Android tablet. I ask him if he has access to Handbook 1 on his Android device and he said he did.

Here is my conclusion:
1. Handbook 1 is available for everyone with the correct permissions for all IOS devices.
2. Handbook 1 is not available for councilors in the Bishopric for Android devices.
3. Handbook 1 is available for councilors in the Stake presidencies for Android devices.

It seems as if it is a permissions problem for councilors in the Bishopric.

How do we resolve this? I have signed up for the beta releases, but has not helped.

Thanks, Brother Gerber

Are you sure? Are you sure he's not running a beta version?

Edit: are you sure he was using GL? Because I can access Handbook 1 via LDS.org.
