Just to add to the data points: I have been beta testing this version without issues and have updated to the released version 3.0.0 successfully as well. I'm running Android 5.0 on an ASUS Zenfone 2.
I see a message in the Beta group within the last hour that they are pushing out to Beta testers what hopes to be a fix (3.0.1). Sit tight. If it works, it should hopefully be released soon.

wwoodford, there is an update (3.0.1) available in the Google Play Store. Will you update your LDS Tools app and try syncing again to see if it has resolved your problem and let us know how it went?

New app not working for me. My unit is Samsung Galaxy tablet. Android version 4.2.2
I click on the ldstools app and it says unfortunately ldstools has stopped.
Please help with this issue. What can I do to get it operating again?

Same experience. Four Android devices on two accounts. My iOS devices all work. This issue started after I switched from the beta blue app to the full release. Beta version worked fine.
