There are actually two Self Reliance callings at the stake level. Stake Self-Reliance Specialist and Stake Self-Reliance Facilitator.

I'd double-check that they exist as a standard position. "Stake Self-Reliance Facilitator" is not mentioned in any of the material I scanned. It was added to LCR 10 years ago, but that doesn't mean it's still there.

All I can go by is what the documentation says, and that page doesn't list "Stake Self-Reliance Facilitator". It might be a documentation error, an oversight, or the position has been deprecated.

Either way, this forum is primarily user-to-user support. It's not going to do much to change things. If you're not the stake clerk, I'd have him follow up with support to figure things out.

I wanted to report of the resolution of this question for posterity's sake. I called the Stake Clerk tonight and we ran a test on a member account. Yes, Stake Self-Reliance Facilitator is a current stake standard calling, and it does have access to create groups in QuickReg. The Church materials are simply not up to date.

Yes, thanks for the update -- there's way too many threads in the Forum left hanging, and it's really helpful for others searching for answers.

Did you perhaps submit Feedback about the documentation needing updates? Although there's no way to externally track what happens once you submit it, there's always hope that it will be included in a subsequent update.

I used the standard feedback link and reported it. I got a response from the Manager of Self-Reliance Welfare and Self-Reliance Service, so I think there's a good chance it will be taken care of in due time.
