I hope someone has successfully gone through this and can help out because I have no idea who else to ask any more...
Our twin daughters have been baptised in February (at the age of 14) and ever since, they have not been able to sign in to circles. Before that, everything went just fine when it came to circles. Now that they had "real" membership numbers (which are connected to their accounts, and work perfectly with everything else, by the way), circles got stuck in a loop whenever they tried to sign in. So, they enter their personal data, click the button, and are asked to sign in again, and so on...
We've tried the whole re-install thing time and again, tried it on mom's and dad's devices, asked global support, our ward clerk as well as our ward's very own IT hero - all in vain.

Some of the Church apps on iOS store sign-in credentials in a keychain that's shared between the Church apps, which means that sign-in credentials aren't necessarily cleared when deleting and reinstalling the app. You could try signing out of all Church apps on your phone, then deleting and reinstalling Gospel Living, then signing back in.

Your daughters actually had "real" membership record numbers before they were baptized. Now there are a whole string of duplicate records that have been combined for each of them.

Just to make sure I'm understanding the problem correctly:
  • They have been able to update their Church accounts to link them to the new membership record numbers
  • If they go to https://account.churchofjesuschrist.org/membership, it shows the new membership record numbers.
  • Gospel Library and other applications work correctly.
  • Signing into Circles fails.
Am I understanding correctly?

I have a pretty good idea. It's not something you would have been able to fix on your own.

Have them try it now and see if it is working. I think the issue got corrected yesterday.

Oh yes! I don't know you, and I don't know what you did, but you're a hero! :!: My, I'm so happy - finally, my daughters get to converse with the other young women again. Thank you SO much!

Anybody have any suggestions for help? I've sent a few messages through the app for help, and it has been responsive, but not successfully solved our problem.
I have 15 priests. I got them all excited to use the app for our activities and planning, goals, etc. and to communicate for activities. But only 4 of my 15 priests can join the circle. All of them have the app and have signed in with the same login they use to access gospel library, LDS tools, etc. I've verified their logins are associate with their MRNs. they all click the "join circle" button and nothing happens. Sometimes the button disappears after they click it, but then it immediately returns. They can't join the circle, and so they essentially can't use the app as intended. This is like 70% of our quorum has this problem. Lots of different devices, iphones, androids, some new, some old. Several have the same problem.
