"Find a Meetinghouse" Problem
I just tried to use "Find a Meetinghouse" on lds.org and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. I used the zip code of the general area where I'm looking for a meeting house, and I got "Your search returned no results. Please try another search." The things is I know there's a meetinghouse in that area (there's actually a few), but I just don't know its exact address.

Does "Find a Meetinghouse" take you to maps.lds.org?

It's important that the browser that you're using has the ability to execute scripts. As you didn't specify, and I must admit that I'm doing a little guesswork here, if you are using FireFox and have the NoScript addon installed, be sure that the addon has been given authority to run a script on lds.orgMac wrote:I just tried to use "Find a Meetinghouse" on lds.org and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. Aside from this, it's possible that you may have entered the zip code incorrectly. I did a test using several zip codes and everything worked perfectly.
Have you read the Code of Conduct?

What zip code where you using? I've run into problems on other sites where some zip codes appear to be missing or misplaced in the database resulting in that kind of problem.Mac wrote:I used the zip code of the general area where I'm looking for a meeting house, and I got "Your search returned no results. Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

No map finder comes up. What I really need is the contact information of the aBishop for this address.

That address is not recognized by Google Maps. The Meetinghouse Locator uses the Google Maps interface to find serving units. Since Garrison Utah is unincorporated you can enter just "Garrison Utah" in the search text box. I did this and the result showed the Garrison Branch in the Ely Nevada Stake as the residential unit. Click on that name and the information for that unit will be displayed. Click the Send a Message link below the branch president's name to send a message to him.diannersmith wrote: Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:16 pm No map finder comes up. Note: The contact information for the branch president is not displayed. The message is sent to the information found in the Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders (CDOL). The branch president then has the option of contacting you from the information your provide to get any additional information he may need.
Edit: The address is physically in Eskdale Utah, according to the USPS, but is still served by the Garrison Branch.
