Attendance Issues

I am new as a ward clerk, so please forgive me if this is a simple question. The issue that I am having at the moment is that we have a handful of members that do not appear on the Sunday School attendance. All the members in question have a calling in either EQ or RS, so there shouldn't be any conflict. I have tried adding them manually to SS, but this has been unsuccessful.

Any suggestions?

Someone may have manually added them to Primary or Youth.

Check the Callings/Classes tab in the membership record for each member and see what is showing in the Class Assignments section. The class assignments can be edited there. By default a brother should show Sunday School and Elders Quorum under the Organization column with Gospel Doctrine and Elders Quorum under the Class column. Substitute Relief Society for Elders Quorum for a sister.

That is what I assumed as well. However, nothing has be defaulted in other than their RS or EQ classes. Then to top it off, there isn't a option to manually add them to new classes. I have opened up other ward members, and i can see the manually add to classes button. Very curious about why their particular members in question do not have this option.

Sounds like you will need to contact the GSD for their expertise.

The only thing that comes to mind is if they are out-of-unit members. But I'd think they could still be assigned classes.

Did you check to see if it is a hidden tile on the "Unhide Tiles" list? Tap the edit icon (pencil icon) at the top right side of the Home page to see if you have any hidden tiles. The "Unhide Tiles" menu item will only appear if you have hidden tiles.
