Old emails about past tithing pmnts?
I have been getting a number of emails about donations made in October, November and other times during 2025. Why am I getting these emails 4-5 months after the fact? Please advise.

Nobody here is likely to have the answer to your questions, because this is a user-to-user discussion forum rather than an official support request channel.
Did you receive the expected regular email messages at the time of the donations?
Is it possible your email vendor or other stage in the email chain might have delayed the messages or might be sending them to you a second time? Are any of the recent messages duplicates of each other?
If something has been happening in your ward/branch with correcting donation information, your ward/branch finance clerk might be able to shed some light on the situation.
Otherwise, you might need to call the Global Services Department. Your ward/branch clerk should be able to give you a phone number for your area.

Are you sure that they are new deliveries? To unravel this mystery, we'll have to look at the email headers. If you want to redact any sensitive information out of them, we could take a look.joshhaldeman wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 3:39 pm I have been getting a number of emails about donations made in October, November and other times during 2025. There are two other reports of the same thing in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=46598
I've entered a support request about it. Hopefully I'll get an answer tomorrow.

There is now a note when you select Donations, explaining the issue! The system won't let me copy and paste the message!

You got to be fast
Dear donor,
As you may already know, when a donation is made online, the system generates a notification email to acknowledge receipt. Due to a technical issue, the email service failed to send many of these emails over the course of the last few weeks.
That issue has now been resolved, and the email service has resumed its normal operation. Unfortunately, the unsent emails for past donations that had been sitting in a queue were released today as a result. If you have received an email notification which shows a donation date before today, please disregard it.
That email is only a delayed notification for a donation made in the past. No donations have been re‑processed or will be withdrawn again.
We understand this may have been confusing or concerning, and we sincerely apologize for the unnecessary worry this may have caused. Please rest assured, those backdated emails were just delayed notifications for contributions made from days to several weeks ago.
Once again, we greatly appreciate your generosity and understanding.
