Baptised then inactive

Post by RebeccaChandler93 »

Hi I was wondering if anybody can help

I was baptised in November and became inactive due to being from a family of a different faith. I've been praying with the elders and watched general conference virtually and would like to come back to church. Do anybody know how I get my membership number so I can start tithing?

Thanks

Rebecca

Contact your ward clerk for that information. If you don't know who that is, and you are still in contact with the missionaries, then ask them to get his telephone number or email address for you.

You'll need to talk with your ward or branch clerk or your bishop or branch president. If the missionaries you are praying with are local, they should be able to direct you to the bishop or branch president. Otherwise, the Meetinghouse Locator should be able to help you send a message to him. Go to https://maps.churchofjesuschrist.org/ and enter your address.

Also, while talking with the ward clerk or other ward officer, I'd suggest getting a copy of your Individual Ordinance Summary and verifying that all the names, dates, places, etc. are correct.
