Online scripture marking: mark style issue

Discussions about the Notes and Journal tool on LDS.org. This includes the Study Toolbar as well as the scriptures and other content on LDS.org that is integrated with Notes and Journal.

Online scripture marking: mark style issue

Post by lobito_ja »

Hi,

When I select a word (I highlight a word) in the LDS scriptures online (the website that is) to mark the word, then I select the "pen" icon, it will mark the word with 1 of 2 available styles (it adds either a colored "underline" to the selected word OR adds a colored "background" to the selected word). The ISSUE I encounter is that if the LAST style used was "underline", when I go and mark the next time, AND THEN change the style to "background" (meaning I want a colored background to the selected word or words), the style change to "background" is NOT saved (despite showing the colored background on the screen). You can confirm this by reloading the same web page -- it will show the "underline" style not the intended "background" style.

This is on :
Google Chrome: Version 149.0.7827.201 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Running on:
MacOS: Sonoma 14.8.7

Thank you.
