I'm the lead developer for the Gospel Library Online (GLO), which is the web version of the Gospel Library App (GLA) mobile application.
We are working on a new Gospel Library experience on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, and we'd love your help testing it. We'd appreciate it if you could spend a little time exploring, reading content, and generally using it as you normally would.
A few things to know:
- This is a test version, so you may run into bugs or things that don't work as expected.
- Some features, including annotations, are not available in this preview.
- It isn't hugely different than the current site. A few updates this round (listed below) but it has the same general look and structure.
- Table of Contents:
- We’ve added a new Table of Contents on the left side that allows you to navigate the entire library. Access it by clicking the open book icon in the top left.
- Side by Side Study:
- We’ve updated the related content area to allow you to navigate additional content and study side by side. Click on any link within an article/book and it will open the side bar view. This can be resized and you can navigate to additional content.
If you find an issue or have suggestions, please use the blue Feedback button found on the right-hand side of the site, or just respond to this thread. Whether you encounter a bug, notice something that doesn't look right, or have ideas for improvement, we'd love to hear from you. Finding bugs is not something you are doing wrong but is helping us to improve. You reporting bugs is exactly what we need to make the site as good as it can be before we do a full release.
