Public Privacy Setting

When I view my household in the directory I'm given three privacy choices;

Private - Leadership Only
Ward
Stake

I assume that the stake setting is considered public.

If I use the maps feature to view my ward members location and select someone from the directory list on the maps site instead of seeing "Stake" I see "Public". (see attached). It seems to me that the same selections chosen in the Household/Directory area of lds.org should carry through to the maps area when displaying a members privacy selection.
