Duty to God Young Men

Post by caaragon »

We have the Duty to God Certificates for each Quorum, (deacon, Teacher, Priest) and the question I have is, is there a way to print the Young Mans Name on this card without a typewriter? I know the church has plenty of Forms already created (blessing, advancement Forms) that you Fill in a few items and print and it prints the form with the data in place, Is there a way to do this with these cards?

By trial and error I created the attached OpenOffice document that worked for me. I don't have OpenOffice or LibreOffice installed anymore so I don't know whether it still opens with the current version of LibreOffice. I also don't know if it works with all printers. But you're welcome to try it.

It opens just fine in LibreOffice, and the name, ward, and stake seem to be in about the right place. And it would be a simple matter to adjust/move them if they are not.

You have to have a calling as a clerk or bishopric member and you must be logged in with your LDS Account. If both of those are true then you should be able to see the DTG certificates in the Young Men section of the store.
