error loading discussions on learn.lds.org

My daughter is currently enrolled in online seminary (learn.lds.org). When she clicks on the discussion module within any lesson, she gets the following error message: "Diagnostics: Mapping Unsuccessful. Please contact your System Administrator."

We've tried this in three browsers: Safari, Firefox, Chrome. And we tried clearing the cache and history of each of those browsers. All with the same results. Seems like it's a setting on her laptop (11" Macbook Air running OS X Mavericks) is causing this, but I can't figure out which setting.
