Children and Youth Emblems of Belonging Order Availability

I thought I would update everyone who has completed their unit order for the children and youth emblems of belonging back in January and received a back order availability update recently. If your message is like mine it states all the emblems of belonging are on back order and expected to ship on Jan 01, 2025. That ship date is an error and it will not take another 4 years and 9 months to get those items. I called customer support about that date and was told our order would be shipped at the end of March 2020. You can call customer support as directed in the message to find out when your order will actually ship.

Have we heard anything about the emblems of belonging being opened up at some point for other leaders to be able to order? I'm a Stake President and would love to purchase some of the oil vials with the temple on them to give to brothers as they receive the MP but the system won't let me. I know I could go through a back door via a bishop but I wonder if they are still trying to ensure that they have enough volume to provide for the youth in the AP.

According to this, all the young men should receive an oil vial from their ward the year they turn 18:
