Codol Administrator how do I contact

Post by michaeljeffreyjones »

I am a Stake Clerk in the UK. I need to change an email for the Stake Music Director. I clicked on Edit Assignment and then tried to make the change. I then received an error message No address types have been set up. For this assignment contact the Administrator. However no further information. Who is the Administer and how do I make contact? Any help is appreciated. :? :?

Have you tried changing the email address for the Stake Music Director's membership record in LCR?
Correction: Have you asked the Stake Music Director's ward clerk to change it?
Or perhaps the Stake Music Director can change the email address in the Member Tools app?

As far as I can remember the only persons who can change an email address, are the member themselves, or a Clerk who has direct access to that members record in their home ward. As a Stake Clerk you don’t have direct access to that function. Not withstanding that the GSC can also make changes.

entering a set apart date for a 2nd Councilor in the Stake Presidentcy

Post by michaeljeffreyjones »

I have put in the membership record of a Brother who was sustained as a 2nd Councilor In the Sunderland England Stake I put date for when he was set apart as the 11th October 2010 and saved it.

When I when into this error message appears The assignment for Stake Presidency Second Counselor [Name] requires a set apart date.

Can you advise me on what I should do next please.

Thank you

Michael

2010? Is that a typo? The system may not allow a date that far in the past.

It appears that he saved correctly and then something tried to remove the set apart date. That removal is what is in the 'unpublished' state in CDOL and generating the error message. You might try adjusting the date and saving it. Then putting it back to the correct one. Or likely the support staff will clean it up Monday.

Since you are in England, I wonder if you might have been entering a "future" date compared with SLC time.
