Login issues using Brave Browser

Post by chuefner »

Suddenly (about the last week or so), I'm not able to login to the main church website using the Brave Browser. I get an error message that my password is incorrect, but the password is the same one that I am able to login using Chrome. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Try using "Private Window" mode. If that works, then you need to clear the cookies for church websites from your browser. The websites have a known issue with cookie buildup.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

russelhltn gave you good avivice...try that. I'm adding other thoughts...

I haven't tried Brave Browser...maybe I'll give it a try one of these days. It says it's a Chromim browser, so, in theory, it might work well with the church sites. Bear in mind that I doubt the church officially supports that browser. I don't know what their current browser list is. I think a few years ago they recommended Chrome or Firefox. I wonder if it's just Chrome now, as I think it's a bit more flaky on Firefox these days. I periodically access church websites with Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. They generally work, but sometimes there are problems.
