Ward Calendar Visibility

When I was a stake clerk nearly ten years ago, I could only see the stake calendars and my own ward calendars. When it came time to generate a PDF of each set of ward calendars for the annual history, I had to ask (and teach) each ward clerk how to show his ward's public calendars, hide the rest, and print the calendar to a PDF for submission with his ward history.

Last night, my stake clerk told me that he can see all ward calendars, so something must have changed. I suspect he is mistaken, thinking each meetinghouse's Location calendar is a ward calendar.

Can one of you current stake clerks confirm or deny this?

I'm a stake finance clerk. I do show up as a default administrator for the stake. But I can only see the location calendars, the stake calendars and my ward's calendars. I can't see the calendars for other wards. I am not a build scheduler.

Perhaps the stake clerk has special rights that the finance clerk doesn't have (and which aren't related to being an administrator) but I kind of doubt it.

Yes, some stake personnel can see all of the ward calendars. I'm an STS, and I can see it. I'd expect the stake clerk to see it as well.

Note that one has to go to "Choose Calendars" to see that option.

And yes, that was a change. I don't remember when that started, but it's been a few years.

Cool! Because I am also a Technology Specialist at the stake level, I can also choose to display other ward calendars.
