How to create church account for an 18 years child

How to create church account for an 18 years child

i am trying to create church account for an 18 years old child but it's telling that the account already when i put the child record number. when i try to recover the account, it was referring to the father's account. how do i create an account for child?

I'd talk to the ward clerk to verify the record number for both the child and the father. Especially if they have similar names.
