It is not directly edited in the Church Account. Rather, it is edited using either the online Ward Directory and Map application or the Member Tools mobile app.
To edit in the Ward Directory and Map;
  • Log onto ChurchofJesusChrist.org;
  • Select Ward Directory and Map found in the waffle icon menu (grid of 9 square dots icon);
  • Select household name;
  • Click the edit icon (pencil in blue circle) in the lower right of the household name pane;
  • Select the Photo tab;
  • Click the Change Photo button;
    You can now either drop the file of the new photo on the frame or select the Choose a Photo on Your Device button to select the file.
To edit in Member Tools;
  • Select 'Directory'
  • Select 'Name' in the second drop-down list box and find your name on the list.
    Alternatively, you can select 'Household', find and select your household name, select the 'Household' tab, and select your name.
  • Tap the photo, or placeholder head and bust icon.
  • Tap the camera icon to take a selfie or tap the image icon to upload a photo from your phone.
Note the photo will not be available for others to view until it is approved by an administrator (bishopric member, ward clerk, assist ward clerk, membership clerk). Only household members 18 years old or older will be able to make the change.
