Donation Log-in/set-up Error?

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

Donation Log-in/set-up Error?

Trying to set up donations account but can't get past asking of the age (being over 13). Server/address bar shows error. How to continue?

There is no separate "donations account". There's only "Church account". Since you've posted, you already have one.

Note that online donations are not available in all countries.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I am having the same problem. My teenage son logged into his church account, then clicked on "donations". This brings up a prompt that asks if he is over the age of 13, and he selects, "Yes", but just gets an error message. We can't get past the message.

If you were trying this Sunday, the Church systems seemed to be having major access problems. Try again today or sometime during the week, you may be able to get past that point now.

I do find it interesting that there is a prompt about age, since if you're logged onto the Church account, the Church should automatically know the age of each logged-on member! Ideally it would internally query the member account info and determine age validity for donations, without requiring an interactive prompt.

If it doesn't work during the week, I recommend making sure the teenage son has his membership record number linked to his church account (and verify with the clerk that the number is correct if it is). I'm curious what the error message says (hopefully not the very unhelpful "something went wrong" message that is all to common).
