Timeliness to approve a members expenses
Having a discussion about when should Bishopric member (counselor or Bishop) approve member reimbursement requests. One of the counselors thinks we should do approvals every 30 days. Is there an actual policy in writing as to when approvals should be done? I stress out about anyone getting paid ASAP if they submit 100 dollar or more reimbursement request. And with some summer camps going on, there have been much higher numbers than that. I am financial clerk and do reimbursement requests ASAP/weekly. And then I find I have to email or text Bishopric to sign off fairly often...but am certainly more aggressive with it when I have 3 digit reimbursement requests. Poli y anywhere on that?

Re: Timeliness to approve a members expenses
While I can't find anything about a deadline to approve expenses, but 30 days seems excessive. A member might have put the expense on their credit card with the expectation that they would get reimbursed before the charge came due.
While there might be exceptions, I'd think aiming for a weekly process would be more timely.
