During a recent membership audit, the date of my wedding, 10 days before my 1st anniversary of my baptism, came into question.
At the time, we received a letter from President Benson permitting us to be married and sealed in the Oakland Temple.
Where can I find a copy of the letter from President Benson?

You could call the GSD and ask them your question. Perhaps there is an achieve copy somewhere in the Church systems, though it would have to be from over 30 some years ago.

You should have been asked to give the letter to the temple when you were married and sealed. It should be in the Temple Department records.
Whether they could actually find it as another question, of course. But your answer to the membership audit is that you had permission from the prophet and that the temple was given the letter at the time.
