Note jumps to top when placing cursor

The recent update has introduced a bug that causes a note I am composing to suddenly scroll back to the top every time I try to place my cursor in the text. This occurs whether I tap once to place the cursor, double tap to highlight a word, or press and hold to highlight a word. As soon as I touch the screen, the note will scroll back up to the top, causing me to have to scroll back down through my note in order to find the place where I had put my cursor. I have tried all the suggestions in the automatic email reply I received, but none of those things helped. This issue is unacceptable, making it very difficult to edit a note. Please fix as soon as possible.

What version of Gospel Library are you running? Gospel Library 7.5.2 for Android, released on November 20th, has this in its release notes: "Fixed an issue where the note editor could unexpectedly scroll to the top."

I'm using 7.5.2 and I'm also having this issue and manifold other issues having to do with strange behavior while trying to make a new highlight or edit an existing highlight.
It's only been since the recent update that all this has occurred.
I'm on Android s21
