Temple Reservation issue

Post by paynerd »

I called the temple to schedule a living ordinance for my kid that is going through for the first time. Its scheduled for June 12. Now when I try to schedule an endowment session all the dates are grayed out until June 12 and it looks like I can schedule out after June 12th. How can I fix this?

Suggest calling the temple to schedule and clarify.

Thanks! I'll try that tomorrow and see if they can see if it's something on their end that they can fix. I'm just praying I don't get the reponse, "just come in whenever you want to go through a session and we will get you in", That puts me in the fetal possision just thinking about it. I seem to always run into robocop when something like that happens. Fingers crossed this works, I guess worst case scenario I'll have guilt free no temple attendance till mid June. haha (at least for endowments)

I called the temple today. They thought it might be an issue with my account, I told them my wife has the same problem that I have which tells me its something they did when they scheduled the living ordinance for our kids. The lady then told me to wait a few hours and see if it fixes itself. UGH......I knew this was way above their pay grade unfortunaley. I guess I will mercy rule this and just wait it out till mid June.

I am having the exact same issue. My daughter is going through the temple in June. She invited me to attend and I accepted the invitation through the link provided in the email that was sent, but now I cannot schedule anything at all (except baptisms) until after her living endowment date and time. It's almost as if the online scheduler thinks that I am the one getting my living endowments, even though I am just a guest/chaperone for her ordinances.

Is there some way to fix this so that people who accept these invitations can still schedule appropriate temple appointments based on their own endowment status and not the status of the child (or other loved one) they are accompanying?

The Tech Forum is intended for user-to-user discussion and self-help, and isn't connected to the Church support systems. The correct way to submit this issue is via the Feedback link available at the bottom of most Church webpages (or inside Church apps).

It would be great if you could submit this via Feedback, since you are currently experiencing this issue. We all know that sometimes support personnel think everything is user error ;) (and often they're right). But they can hopefully look at your particular church account, and that might demonstrate where the bug is in their internal scheduling process.

With multiple people seeing the same very strange symptoms, I wonder if perhaps a phone call to the Global Services Department might be advisable.
