Elders quorum \ Relief Society - Posted discussion page changes...

Hello,
With the change to weekly meetings coming soon and the focus switching from full general conference talks to individual messages, I'm concerned about the home page in the library app, and the conference talks the elders quorum and relief society can post there, to help their members know what we are focusing on that week. If this part of the webpage is not updated. this will likely lead to confusion as to what we plan to discuss on any given sunday.

What changes, if any, will the church make to this web page? I assume we will be able to link to something every week rather than every other week. Will there also be a function to allow us to focus on a specific message and make that part of the weekly web page link? When can we anticipate web page changes to be published, so that we can use them?

Since the Tech Forum is populated (almost exclusively) by regular church members like yourself, Forum participants don't generally have "insider information" beyond what the Church has publicly shared. I know there will be instructional videos and other items made available in August, but no word on specifically what those training materials will be.

I think your questions are likely shared by the rest of us here, and for now it seems all we can do is patientily wait, with the hope that these type of changes will be rolled out with enough lead time for local leaders to adapt as needed.

I'm not sure if I fully understand your question, but the Gospel Library app currently supports adding elders quorum and Relief Society lessons every week, starting with lessons in September. This capability was released in January, and turned on for everyone to see just after the updated schedule was announced at general conference. Another update released a couple of weeks ago makes it easier to look ahead and see the next few lessons in Home (instead of just one week at a time).

The instructions for what should be studied in elders quorum and Relief Society lessons has not changed: "The focus should be on topics in one or more talks from the most recent general conference. The elders quorum [or Relief Society] presidency prayerfully selects conference messages for quorum members to discuss. They make these selections based on members’ needs" (General Handbook, EQ 8.2.1.2, RS 9.2.1.2).
