Ministering - Young Women over 14 are not showing up to be assigned

Hi, I am trying to add Young Women to current ministering companionships - sisters or couples - and no young women show up at all whether through a search or reviewing the drop down list. I cannot find any information about how to do this. I am the RS Ministering and RS Secretary so I should be able to do this. They also do not show up on the Sisters Without Assignment list. I am working on a PC. I do not see an option for this on my iPhone.

I also tried adding a new district with a new companionship, adding the adult sister first, then the young woman - again, none of the YW are listed.

This program has been out for a while so I thought it would be working - and why I need help with this. LOL Thanks!

but unfortunately the O.P. never posted what their resolution was (I assume they finally got things fixed for them). It seems you've tried the main suggestion in that thread, to first add the adult sister then try adding the young woman. Perhaps another Forum member who has done something similar with youth ministering assignments, will share how it worked for them.

I just checked whether I, as a ward clerk, had issues adding any youth to a ministering companionship and had no problem. I was able to add young men to Elders Quorum companionships and young women to Relief Society companionships.

Since I can add youth, there may be a permissions issue for those who have an appropriate calling that should have permissions and cannot add youth. The scope of that can only be resolved by contacting Global Services Department (GSD) support. Before calling support, make sure you have a calling with permissions to edit ministering assignments.

According to the Feature Access by Calling tool in LCR, the Relief Society Ministering Secretary has all the necessary ministering permissions needed. If you have that calling you should have the necessary permissions . However, Relief Society Secretary and Relief Society Assistant Secretary callings do not have ministering permissions (those callings are not listed in the callings list). Since you indicated you had both Relief Society Secretary and Relief Society Ministering Secretary callings, you may need to make sure you are using the RS Ministering Secretary calling when performing ministering tasks in LCR. Generally, those with multiple callings will have an option in the LCR menu to select the calling they will be using.
