2.0.3/iPad: Note closes without saving with tap outside of keypad

I'm looking for a way to configure the app to not cancel by default an unsaved note when I inadvertently touch an area of the screen outside the keypad. It would be nice to at least have a prompt acknowledging the note hasn't been saved and asking if I'd like to save it.
